Robert Day Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Day (Sparta, Kentucky), who passed away on February 28, 2020, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Day and Esther Day; his mother-in-law Mary Berner; his children-in-law, Beverly Day and Clifford "Butch" Christensen, Jr.; his siblings, Ronny Day, Diane Ridenour and Judy Day; and his siblings-in-law, Carl Scanlan, Vince Valentino and Maggie Fath.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Jane Day (Berner); his children, Rob L. of Lebanon, TN, William R. "Randy" of Dry Ridge, KY and Denise Gubbels (Tony) of Randolph, NE; his grandchildren, Ashley Boyer (Ryan), Tara Dolen, Samantha Leimser (Aaron), Erica Pierson (Ryan), Sidney Day, Madilyn Day and Blayne Day; his great grandchildren, Perry, Finley, Truman, Burke and Clara; his siblings, Jimmy (Debbie), Timmy (Becky), Kenny, Doreen Brinkman (Bill), Mizzy Hasselbach (Mike) and Annette Scanlan; and his siblings-in-law, Betty Jean Valentino, Lawrence "Junior" Berner and Clarence "Pinky" Fath. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial contributions are suggested to the ALS Association of Northern Kentucky or Bluegrass Hospice Care.
