Barger (Sparta, Kentucky), born in Knoxville, Tennessee, who passed away on April 23, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, George H. Major and Myrtle Viola Smith Major; her husband John Barger; her sons, Robert and James Barger; her son-in-law Bernie Deaton and her siblings, James Major, Muriel Hackworth and Mildred Poston. She is survived by : her daughter Karen (Steve) Slubowski , sons Raymond (Ginny) Barger and Charles (Karen) Barger, her daughter-in-law Karen Barger and her sister Rose Cummins. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and seventeen great-grandchildren.
The family wishes in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to Owenton Center Activities Fund.
