He was predeceased by: his parents, Onzie Nantz and Mattie Howard Nantz; and his siblings, Ellen Nantz, Attie Nantz Williams, Earl Nantz, Elmer Nantz, Otis Nantz and Burley Lawson.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Dopf; his daughters, Sharon Simmons, Sheila Nantz, Melony Nantz and Travenna Nantz Skeens; his stepdaughter Kayla Roberts Dopf; his sons, Mark Partin Nantz, Jacob Nantz and Tony Long; and his niece Jean Couch. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Garnett-New Funeral Home. A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Donations are suggested to the Gallatin County Animal Shelter and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
