He is survived by: his wife Dixie Charles of South Williamson, KY; his son Grant Charles of Huntington, WV; his stepchildren, Michael Dove (Allison) of Belfry, KY and Brittany Thacker (Brandon) of Hardy, KY; his siblings, Roger Charles (Betty) of Red Jacket, WV, Ryan Charles (Melissa) of Hardy, KY and Doris "Snookie" Young (Ron) of Buskirk, KY; and his grandchildren, Micah, Devin, Kason, Journi and Lily. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.
