She was predeceased by: her parents, James Clay and Marie Pennington Skidmore; her husband James D. James; her siblings, Oleata Brown, Jim Skidmore, Jack Skidmore, Mike Skidmore and Lindsay Skidmore (Buck); and her grandmothers, Bailey, Glen Skidmore and Joan Mae Skidmore.
She is survived by: her sons, Troy James (Nancy) of Waverly and Chad James (Candy) of Etna; her siblings, William Skidmore, Betty Carter and Linda Lawson; her grandchildren, Joey, Jack, Jakob, Gracie, Kyle, Austin and Kenley; and her niece Kathy Munn.
