He is survived by: his wife Julie Ann Watkins Potter; his children, John Potter of South Shore, KY, Patty Brown (Doug) of Tollesboro, KY. and Candi Cains of South Shore, KY; his brother Woodrow Potter of South Shore, KY; his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Potter, Kortney Dingess, Eli Cains, Brooke Doherty, Jake Cains, Emily Cains, Clay Newsome and Colin Newsome; and his great grandchildren, Wyatt Whisman and Octavia Whisman.
