It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Lee Brown (South Shore, Kentucky), born in Ironton, Ohio, who passed away on October 25, 2024, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Brown and Leona Matthews Brown; and his brothers, Danny, Bobby and Keith Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Hettie Gray Brown; his daughters, Rachea (Dalton), Cheranda Blevins (Charles) and Miranda McGlone (Brent); his grandchildren, Madison, Nathanial, Willow and Lucas; his great grandchild Mikaila; and his siblings, Faye Mangus of South Shore, KY, Linda Slaughter of South Shore, KY, Lisa Potter (Tim) of South Shore, KY, Delmas (Shirley) and Ted of Oldtown, KY. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
