He was predeceased by: his parents, Ed Stone and Anna Stone (Bentley); his former wife Donna Joyce Stone; and his siblings, Roy, Kermit, Jimmy Stone, Patty Smith and Augusta "Gussy" Kinsey.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Lynn Stone (Runyon); his children, Shane Blankenship (Lottie) of South Shore, KY., Michael Stone (Andrea) of South Shore, KY., Steven Duley of Louisville, KY., Donna Sue Whaley (David) of Ashland, KY., Ronni Panos (Alicia), Tammy Stone of Portsmouth, OH., Alicia Runyon Jones of Thompson Station, TN. and Lori Kubach (Duley) of Boca Raton, FL.; and his sister Judy Riggs of Garrison, KY.. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
