He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Willie Brown and Edith Robertson Brown; his wife Norma VanHorn Brown; his daughters, Rebecca Ratliff (Jamie) of South Portsmouth and Sydonna Cooley (Kelly) of South Portsmouth; his grandsons, Wyatt Ratliff (Jordan) of South Shore, Marcus Ratliff (Alexis) of Portsmouth and Blake Cooley of South Portsmouth; his great grandchildren, Ellie Ratliff and Bryar Ratliff; and his sister Pauline Farley.
