He was predeceased by: his parents, Winston G. Bretz and Mondalee Ratliff Bretz. He is survived by: his sister Charlotte Starrett; his wife Barbara Holbrook Bretz; his sons, Todd Bretz of Portsmouth and Kevin Bretz (Rhea) of Grayson; his sister Debra May (Clifton) of South Shore; and his close friends, Ishmel Howard and Maurice VanBibber. He is also survived by many extended family and friends.
