He is survived by: his parents, Violet Lowery Sartin and Judge Lee Sartin; his siblings, Judy Kegley of Vanceburg and Joy Stamper (Harold) of Union; his children, Kimberly Lykins, Jacqueline Sue Sartin (Donna) of Richmond, Rayetta Angel (Kevin) of South Shore, Gary Todd Sartin (Lisa) of Vanceburg and Delores Bay of Vanceburg; his grandchildren, Whitney Lykins Campbell (Adam) of Georgetown, Clay Lykins (Blair) of Lexington, Madge Noble (Marceo) of Richmond, Brooke Noble Melanson (John) of Frisco, Shannon Jamison (Jessica) of Garrison, Rachael Jamison Simpson (Cody) of Minford, Hannah Jamison (Dustin) of Garrison, Lyndsey Sartin Clark (Kyle) of Circleville, Alex Sartin of Kansas City and Avery Sartin of Vanceburg; and his siblings, Jacquline Sartin Lykins and Lawrence "Lonnie" Sartin. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren Gary was preceded in death by his parents.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to SOMC Hospice Services, 2201 25th Street, Portsmouth, Ohio, 45662. .
