As Connie departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Connie may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Connie leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lowell Thompson and Wanda Antis Thompson; and her husband Roger Vanover. She is survived by: her children, Barry Vanover (Glenna), Jennifer Lute (Keith), Deron Vanover (Rachel) and Brad Vanover (Amy); and her brothers, Christopher Thompson (Betty), Timothy Thompson (Linda) and Andrew Thompson (Vicki). She is also survived by nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 23rd 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A procession was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the Leaving Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A graveside service was held on Saturday, August 24th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Quillen Cemetery (1-71 Quillen Cemetery Rd, Greenup, KY 41175).
