He was predeceased by: his parents, Noel Collins and Milldred Payton Collins; his wife Anna Ruth Rollins Collins; his sister Christina Baker; and his son-in-law Jeff Smith (Michael Carver).
He is survived by: his daughters, Carlena Smith of South Shore, KY and Ruth Collins of South Shore, KY; his siblings, David Collins, Faith Stump, Joan Clark, Hope Atwood, Gay Sabia and Joy Tice; his grandchildren, Sabrina Koester (David), Tabby Selvage (Todd), Jessica Forbes (Alex), Johnny Miller, Jenny Morgan (Ethan) and Janette Sutton (Nathan); his great grandchildren, Jonah Koester, Liam Selvage, Madison Forbes, Mason Forbes, Mavrik Forbes, Myla Forbes, Ethan Ray Morgan, Emmit Morgan, Ellie Morgan, Ezra Morgan, Anastasia Ray Miller, Sam Sutton and Spencer Sutton; and his close friends, Bo Carver (Linda) and Leelah Carver.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (400 Main St, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
