She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Prise and Otilee Horsley Prise; her husband Otho Messer; her grandson Rocky Joe Messer; and her brothers, Lewis Price and Lester Prise.
She is survived by: her children, Randy Messer (Cheryl) of Worthington, KY, Kathy Valencia (Jose) of Tehachapi, CA, Anita Murray (Skip) of South Shore, KY and Stephanie Miller (Jeremiah) of Ronceverte, WV; her siblings, Ed Prise, Curtis Prise, Sharon Kay Stevens and Mary Prise; her grandchildren, Corey Messer, Jason Messer, Cody Murray, Kyle Murray, Kayla Coleman, Chandler Reed and Chloe Reed; her aunt Inez Bloomfield; and her pet Benji. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
