We are sad to announce that on February 19, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Bernice Howard of South Shore, Kentucky, born in Leatherwood, Kentucky. She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Greene and Bertha Greene (Wolfe); her husband William Henry Howard; and her siblings, Ollie, Ishmel, Wedsel, Ferrell, Ezra, Douglas, Austin Greene and Beatrice Warnock.

She is survived by: her children, Ishmel Dale Howard (Connie) of South Shore and Tammy Hall (JB) of South Shore; her grandchildren, Stephanie Sparks (Jeff) of South Shore, Robert Dale Howard (Rachael) of South Shore and William Wesley Claxon of South Shore; her stepgranddaughter Jessica Womack (Robert) of Greenup, KY; her great grandchildren, Jeffrey Scott Sparks (Jordan), Keith Walker Sparks, Ella Elizabeth Howard, William Grayson Howard, Everett Lawrence Howard and Holden Ellis Howard; her stepgreat-grandsons, Kyle and Ryan Womack; her grandchildren, Reagan Jane Sparks and Lincoln Scott Sparks; her sisters-in-law, Gertie Green and Catherine Greene; her nephew Homer; and her niece Cherie Royster. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

As a result of state guidelines due to COVID-19 face coverings and social distancing will be required.
