Amanda Jane Dickerson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Amanda Jane Dickerson of South Shore, Kentucky, born in Olive Hill, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 24, 2024 at the age of 81. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Jones and Opal Jones (Fannin); her siblings, Inez Pinkston, Patricia Henderson, John Cox, Glen Cox and Paul Franklin Jones; and her grandson Ryan Dickerson.
She is survived by: her husband Jack Dickerson of South Shore; her children, Rick Dickerson of Lancaster, OH and Peggy Gemperline (Pete) of Portsmouth, OH; and her grandchildren, Dylan of Portsmouth, OH, Brandon Gemperline of Portsmouth, OH and Amber Hargreaves (Josh) of Long Island, NY. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Morton-Hunt Family Funeral Home (311 James E Hannah Dr, South Shore, KY 41175). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Northeast (Cs-1008, Grayson, KY 41143).
