With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Violet E. Tinsley of South Portsmouth, Kentucky, born in Vanceburg, Kentucky, who passed away on April 27, 2024 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Bentley and Pearl Willis Bentley; her husband Alfred Tinsley; and her siblings, Audry Boggs, Hattie Holbrook, Ilene Conley, Art Bentley, Norman Bentley and Joe Bentley.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Tinsley (Diane) of South Shore, KY., Wesley Tinsley (Jocelyn) of Monroe, MI. and Joseph Tinsley (Alison) of Chelsea, MI; her sister Cleo Smith of Firebrick, KY; her grandchildren, Sam, Alex, Katy, Emma, Angela and Amanda; and her great grandchildren, Victoria, Spencer, Olivia, Max and Louie.
