He is survived by: his daughters, Sue Sullivan (Tony) of Upton, KY, Lora Patterson (John) of Middleburg, KY, Gay Lanham (Joey) of Elizabethtown, KY and Karen Butler (Curtis) of Bonnieville, KY; and his siblings, Burnette Van Meter of Leitchfield, KY, Doris Priddy of Upton, KY, Carmen Kerr of Clarkson, KY and Court Kerr of Clarkson, KY. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren.
