He is survived by: his wife Judy Hornback Goatley; his sons, Donnie Goatley of Sonora and Billy Cottrell (Paula) of Sonora; his sister Janet Husband (Bill) of Louisville; his grandchildren, William, Coty Beckwith (Kane) and Mason Goatley (Bridgette); and his great grandchildren, Kaya Beckwith, Roan Beckwith, Lorissa Goatley and Brooklyn Goatley.
