He is survived by: his significant other Joyce Miller Blanton of Sonora, KY.; his sons, Bruce Scifres of Big Spring, KY, Neal Scifres (Terri) of Oakland City, IN, Rodney Blanton, Jr. (Amanda) of Lexington, KY, Curt Scifres (Donna) of Mt. Washington, KY, Kevin Blanton of Lanesville, IN and Christopher Blanton (Kate) of Cincinnati, OH; and his brothers, C. W. Blanton (Karen) of Sarasota, FL and Bob Blanton of Meadowview, VA. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren.
