It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Omer Lee Hutcherson of Sonora, Kentucky, who passed away on December 13, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Omer Lee departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Omer Lee may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Omer Lee leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his son Lonnie W. Hutcherson. He is survived by: his wife Joy M. Hutcherson (Reed); and his children, Ricky Hutcherson, Shireen Hutcherson (Shy) and Patrick Hutcherson. He is also survived by five grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home - Elizabethtown (2098 Leitchfield Rd, Elizabethtown, KY 42701). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
