She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Sims and Phyllis Robinson Sims; her husband James Samuel Hornback; her siblings, Brenda Sims and Johnnie Sims; and her grandson Robert Allen Lindauer, II.

She is survived by: her children, Robert Allen Lindauer (Patty) of Bloomington, IN, Charles D. Lindauer of Sonora, KY, Tammy Elizabeth Lee of Bloomington, IN, Krista Dowell (Jason) of Rineyville, KY and Kimberly Sue Barnes (Brett) of Elizabethtown, KY; and her grandchildren, Jason, Christopher, Michael, Johnathan, Cooper, Noelle, Nicholas, Justin, Sierra, Ava Grace, Trace, Landon, Bailee and Addi. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Manakee Funeral Home (29 W Western Ave, Sonora, KY 42776). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 27th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
