She was predeceased by: her parents, John Henry and Anna Belle Carpenter (Getty); her husband Jim Hawkins; and her son Jimmy Hawkins. She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Holtzclaw, Marsha Barnett (Danny) and Amy Barnett (David); and her grandchildren, Leslie Scott, Joe Ford, Eddie Ford, Lynn Morris, Jeff Barnett, Jon Barnett, Dave Barnett, Tommy Barnett, Jimbo Hawkins and Samantha Taylor. She is also survived by 14 great grandchildren, and 5 great great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Somerset, Kentucky (128 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In Lieu of flowers the family asks that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to The First Christian Church or The Frist Baptist Church, Project 58:10.
