He is survived by: his father Roger VanDerPloeg (Kim) of Naples, FL; his wife Connie Lynn VanDerPloeg; his sons, Timothy Clayton VanDerPloeg of Somerset and Triston Conner VanDerPloeg of Somerset; his grandmother Lou VanDerPloeg of Naples, FL; his siblings, Brian VanDerPloeg (Amanda) of Cincinnati, OH, Daniel VanDerPloeg (Jeff) of Denver, CO, Laurie VanDerPloeg Johnson (Chris) of London, KY and Stacie VanDerPloeg of London, KY; his nieces and nephews, Kylie Privett Flannery, Tayleigh Johnson, Zachary VanDerPloeg, Bradley VanDerPloeg, Kaven Johnson, Tatum Johnson and Emmett Hale; his great-niece Hadlee Flannery; his parents-in-law, Donnie and Carolyn Sue Gibson of Ferguson, KY; his siblings-in-law, Donald Gibson of Ferguson and Melissa Privett (Troy) of Strunk, KY; and his family, Kylie, Rilee and Morgan. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lake Cumberland Ducks Unlimited or the Somerset-Pulaski County Humane Society Spay and Neuter Clinic.
