We are sad to announce that on November 26, 2024, at the age of 93, Stanley S. Wood of Somerset, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Wood and Mabel Price Wood; his wife Carolyn Jones Wood; and his siblings, James Robert "J. R." Wood (Girtha), Lewis Wood, Irene Meadows and Faye Lois Phillips.
He is survived by: his children, Rodney Wood (Louise) of Brown City, MI, Michael Wood (Veda) of Ray, MI, Timmy Wood (Tammy) of Glasgow and Cynthia Paul (Brian) of Farmington Hills, MI; and his siblings, John Wood, Ron Wood and Dora Helen Peterson. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.
