He is survived by: his wife Laura Jean Ware McClain; his stepparents, Lloyd and Rita Smith of Broadhead, KY; his daughter Sylvia Bryant (Bobby Cox) of Somerset; his stepdaughters, Randi Mayfield of Somerset and Megan Mayfield of Stearns, KY; his siblings, Terry Smith of Somerset and Amy Ellis (Brian) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Brandon, Amethyest, Benjamin, Gabriel and Lillian; and his pet Jax.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
