It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roy Pence in Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on November 2, 2024, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Pence and Stella Debord Pence; and his brothers, Abraham and David Pence. He is survived by: his wife Wilma Pence; his daughter Kathy Fitzwalter (Ray) of Somerset; his grandchildren, Timothy Dick, Amy Abbot, Austin Ray Fitzwater, Johnnie Fitzwater and Drema Perkins; his great grandchildren, Isaiah, Maverick, Karma, Addy Dick, Ryleigh Hobbs, Jesslyn, Azalea Abbott, Jasper, Lavender Perkins, Charles Neal, Kyson Jones and Brinley Smith; and his siblings, Tim Pence of Somerset, Marion Pence of Eubank, Robert "Catfish" Pence of Eubank, His, Shirley Strain of Broadhead, Kathy Lykins of Eubank, Karen Smiley of Eubank, Joyce Pence of Eubank and Norma Jean Carolton of Science Hill.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Morris & Hislope Funeral Home (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
