He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Cox, Jr. and Phyllis Martin Walbeck; his stepfather Donald Walbeck; his significant other Madeline Dailey; and his nephew Terry Tingle.
He is survived by: his daughter Kayla Murphy (Gayle) of Pleasureville, KY; his sisters, Tammy Miles (Freddie) of Waddy, KY and Susan Satterly (Junior) of Lawrenceburg, KY; his grandchildren, Raiden, Bryant and Emmett; and his close friend Roger Early (Cindy Correll).
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 6th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Southern Oaks Cemetery (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503).
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donation be made to the Kosair Children's Hospital or an organization for Children's Miracle Network.
