With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Coomer Jr. (Somerset, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Robert may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.

He is survived by: his wife Jana Coomer; and his children, Becky Bales, Robert B. Coomer III (Joyce), Katie Coomer, Wes Coomer and Zach Coomer. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

“Jana and Family, Bob was truly a legend, and this world will be a little darker without his humor and light. I have so many childhood memories of growing up as close family friends with his mom and dad. Whenever Bob was home, it was happy times with lots of fun and laughter. “Our deepest sympathies go out to Jana and all of the family on the passing of Dr Bob. Although we are saddened by the news of his passing, we couldn't help but smile for the memories of long ago. His infectious laugh and amazing personality are how we remember the OLe Wirebender. He was always the life of any gathering. As one of his first orthodontic patients, it was that experience that made me want to become and orthodontist. He will forever have a place in our hearts. Gary and Susie Inman”
