He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel D. Sowder and Zelma Price Sowder; his wife Ann; and his children, Zelma Howard Sowder and Samuel Robert Sowder.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501).
