It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Regena Norfleet Owen (Somerset, Kentucky), who passed away on February 10, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Rufus Norfleet and Lucille Weddle Norfleet; and her husband Wendell Owen. She is survived by: her daughters, Shellie Young (Jimmy) of Nancy, KY and Missie Bryant (Lonnie Lee) of New Vienna, OH; her stepson Steve Owen (Dawn); her grandchildren, Jason Turpen (Kim), Kyle Turpen (Sarah), Cody Light (Cait), Cory Light (Brandi), Jaylon Wooldridge, Jakoby Lasley (Katie), Taushawn Benford (Keely), Kamara Sloan, Lane Owen and Londyn Owen; and her great grandchildren, Preston Turpen, Kaden Turpen, Lily Kate Turpen, Kylin Coomer, Maddox Turpen, Porter Turpen, Asher Turpen, Taytum Benford and Isaac Light. She is also survived by extended family members, neighbors and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
