She was predeceased by: her parents, William Howard and Russie Deholas Stigall Lewis; her husband Clarence Meeks; and her siblings, William Ray Lewis and Patricia Lewis Horton.
She is survived by: her sister Sheila Yvonne Lewis; her nieces, LaTonya "Toni" Doyle, Stacy Lynn Horton and Mary Ashley Horton; and also Arthur J. "Ajay" Perry of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by three great nephews, one great niece, two great-great nieces and three great-great nephews.
