She was predeceased by: her parents, Tex Otis Newton and Sally Ferguson Newton; and her husband Winfred Raymond Applegate. She is survived by: her children, Michael Applegate, Larry Applegate, Jerry Applegate, Lorie Applegate and Sherri Applegate of Somerset, KY. She is also survived by many grandchildren; and several great grandchildren; extended family members, neighbors and friends.
