Merle William Cook Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Merle William Cook of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on January 18, 2025 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Magdaline Cook; his in-laws, Ralph and Donna Mounce Bullock; and his siblings, Van Roe Cook, Jesse "Junior" Cook, James "Shello" Cook, Arthur "Dedarde" Cook, Bobby "Bubbus" Cook, Sally "Soddie" Boyd, Gracie Jean Dobkins and Debbie Correll.
He is survived by: his parent Jesse Cook; his wife Rita Gail Bullock; and his siblings, Butch Cook of Somerset and Ruby Goff of Somerset. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
