She was predeceased by: her parents, Delbert Mounce and Lora Baker Mounce; her husband Robert Murphy; and her siblings, JC Wells, Evender Wells, Ivan Mounce, Norman Mounce, Ruby Garrett, Vernon Mounce, Jerry Mounce and Juanita Bowling.
She is survived by: her children, Robert "Bobby" Murphy (Joyce) of Nashville, TN, Ricky Murphy (Lucy) of League City, TX, Andy Murphy of Somerset, KY, Jimmy Murphy of Somerset, Timothy Murphy of Bowling Green, KY, Robin Molden (Eric) of Somerset, KY, Debbie Colyer of Somerset, KY and Darlene Murphy (Pat Vanhook) of Somerset. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Funeral Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
