She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherman Pearl Jr. and Lola Marie Hicks; her husband William Deaton Jr.; and her siblings, Sherman "Buddy" Hicks, John F. Hicks, Neil Hicks and Kathryn Acey.
She is survived by: her children, Lynne Deaton and William "Bill" Deaton (Tami Deaton); her grandchildren, Chuck McClure and Heidi Bowling (Matt Bowling); and her great grandchildren, Sophia Bowling and Sadie Bowling. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
Viewing was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Main Chapel (5900 US Hwy 27, Science Hill, KY 42553). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
