He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sutherland and Ella Mae Rogers Sutherland; his wife Janice Mae Cook Sutherland; and his siblings, Drex Ann Cromer and Robert Sutherland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kimberly Sue Dykes (Joseph) of Somerset, Tonya Denise Burton (Scotty) of Ferguson, Angela Jewell Cox (Charles) of Somerset and Lori Mae Dishman (Lydon) of Somerset; his siblings, Jerry Sutherland, Sr., Michael Sutherland and Vickie Merritt; his grandchildren, Kenneth Dykes (Shantel), Samantha Gleason (Aaron), Amber Jackson (Victoria), Jordan Miller (Alex), Rylan Dishman, Brandon Burton (Victoria), Shannon Sneed (Shelby), Jade Strunk (Coy) and Skyler Cox; and his great grandchildren, Ayden Dykes, Zoey Dykes, Haven Brown, Blake Burton, Cameron Anders, Zane Anders, Phoenix Dykes, Brantley Sowders, Briley Cook, Reed Jackson, Theodore Sneed, Waylon Strunk, Calliope Strunk, Karson Smithers and Cora Miller. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Co (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Somerset Undertaking Company and Crematory (113 N Main St, Somerset, KY 42501). A graveside service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Lakeside Memorial Gardens (4790 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
