He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Edward and Maggie Gallagher; his sisters, Mary Ann Hyden, Betty Gallagher and Margaret King; his son John Gallagher, Jr.; and his great grandchild Bentley Burke.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Bush; his children, Sam Gallagher and Ann Corder (Jamie); his grandchildren, Kayla Burke (Tyler), Jace Corder, Jake Corder and Jaxon Gallagher; his great grandchildren, Laney, Brayden and Bennett Burke; his sisters, Frances Godbey (Virgil) and Edwena Dyer; and his nieces and nephews, Olivia, Alex, Jeremiah and Annabelle Bush.
It was John's request that in lieu of flowers one should go out and buy a child a happy meal.
