We are sad to announce that on December 17, 2024, at the age of 74, James Davis Jr. of Somerset, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Harrison Davis, Sr. and Sylvia Parrott Davis; his wife Karen Rogers Russell Davis; and his half-brother Gene Davis. He is survived by: his brother John Davis (Mary) of Somerset; his children, James H. Davis III (Kirsten) of Aurora, CO, Eddie Russell (LaDawn) of Somerset and Patti Russell (Shawn Whitaker) of Somerset; his grandson Justin H. Davis; and his nephews, John M. Davis (Misti) of Lancaster and Ben Davis (Brittany) of Berea. He is also survived by other family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
