He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Adams and Okel Baker Adams; his wife Mary Adams; his grandson Wayne Lee Adams; and his siblings, Frank Adams Jr., Cecil Adams, Jim Adams, LeRoy Adams and Justine Dugger.
He is survived by: his children, Jackie Wayne Adams of Somerset and Patsy Adams of Somerset; his grandchildren, Amanda Payne, Sonja Adams and Cheyene Hensley; his great grandchildren, Bailey Price, Wayne Allen Miller, Austin Miller, Aiden Miller and Cheeza Adams; and his sisters, Imogene Jasper, Brenda Harris and Linda Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews, extended family members, church family and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Lake Cumberland Funeral Home (1046 KY-80, Somerset, KY 42503).
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Hospice of Lake Cumberland.
