She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Merrick and Lunar Merrick; her husband Albert Burton; and her siblings, Ruth Daulton, Elva Burton, Odell Merrick, Delno Merrick, Jewell Jones, Edith Pierce, Lunar Merrick, Jr., Garvel Merrick and Opal Tarter.
She is survived by: her children, Albert Lee Burton (Sharon) of Somerset, Dianna Sexton (Bobby) of Science Hill, Sheila Franklin (Larry) of Nancy and Russell Burton (Trisha) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Michelle Luttrell (Rodney) of Somerset, Chris Burton (Stephanie) of Missouri, Shawn (Vickie) of Richmond, KY, Dwain (Liz) of Columbia, KY, Jason Burton (Angela) of Somerset, Misty Richmond (Andy) of Somerset, Beth Branum (Keli) of Missouri and Brittany Robertson (Aaron) of Nancy; her sister Charlotte Wheeldon of Somerset; and her sister-in-law Nancy Merrick of Somerset. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; 8 great-great grandchildren.
