It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of BriLee Kay Putteet of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 17, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Jerry Myer Putteet, Jr., Norma Dean Childers Putteet and Morris Washburn; and her uncle Jerry Todd Putteet. She is survived by: her parents, Brian Lee Putteet of Somerset and Melissa Kay Washburn of Somerset; her stepmother Tonya Sprinkles of Somerset; her grandmother LaDonna Sykes of Columbus, Ohio; her aunts, Kristina P. Smith (Jimmy) of Somerset, Melissa R. Putteet (Jack New) of Somerset and Kimberly Grant of Dayton, Ohio; her siblings, Matthew Lee Putteet of Lexington, MacKenzie Elizabeth Putteet (Nik Shultz) of Georgetown and Lilee Ellen Alexander of Somerset; and her niece Sadie Mae Schultz.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Oak Hill Baptist Church (2135 Oak Hill Rd, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the BriLee Kay Putteet Memorial Fund, C/O Southern Oaks Funeral Home.
