With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara Broughton of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on January 7, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Tom Simpson and Mary Farris Simpson; and her brother Thomas David Simpson. She is survived by: her husband Bro. Noah Broughton; her daughters, Regina Brooks (Ted Brooks) of Somerset, Angela Boyd (Jeremy) of Somerset and Rachel Broughton of Somerset; her sister Jealetta Roberts (Ken) of Lincoln County; her grandchildren, Kandice Nelson, David Rutherford, Savannah Boyd, Sheridan Boyd, Charity Brooks and Olivia Boyd; and her great grandchildren, Adaline, Noah, Amelia, Reese, Grant and Brooks.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Chapel of the Southern Oaks Funeral Home (2110 KY-914, Somerset, KY 42503). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
