It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Amelia Neeley of Somerset, Kentucky, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burdette and Lenora Marie Allen; her husband Earl Neely; and her siblings, James "Buddy" Allen (Charlene), Edwin "Stretch" Allen (Myrtle), Christine Denham (Earl) and Margaret Humble (Roy).
She is survived by: her close friends, Charles Owens, Mary Merrick, Shirley Ramsey and Tom Morgan; her sons, David Neely (Susan) of Bradenton Florida and Bruce Neely (Shannon) of Somerset; her grandchildren, Brian Neely (Danielle) of Lehigh Acres, Devan and Brad Neely of Somerset; her great grandchildren, Riley and Holden Neely of Lehigh Acres, Florida.; and her brother Dr. Richard Allen (Elizabeth) of Louisville, KY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
