He was predeceased by: his parents, Omer Emerson and Louise Fisher Emerson; and his wife Mary Ann Emerson. He is survived by: his sons, Henry Douglas Emerson (Jean Ann) and Willard Joe Emerson (Tina) of Smiths Grove; his grandchildren, Chris Emerson (Autumn), Dustin Emerson, Ashley Emerson and Amanda Thomas (Curtis); his sister Joyce Ann Cooke; and his siblings-in-law, Joanna Nuckols (Steve) and Jimmy Morgan. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
