He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Larry Vernon and Murline Johnson McCoy; his wife Sharon Vernon; his daughters, Whitley Vernon Rich (Jarred), Madison Vernon Bell (Thomas) and Jessica Vernon Baston (Trey); his grandchildren, Oakley, Raylan, Jackie, Emory, Franklin and Bell; and his siblings, Mitchell Vernon (Sideana), Jeff Vernon (Jamie), Shanna Kozak (Bryan) and Sara Goad (Jason).
