She was predeceased by: her parents, M. B Furlong and Hilda Mae Allen Furlong; her husband Marvin Hester; and her daughter Babbie Lynn Hester. She is survived by: her children, Billy Joe Hester (Reda), Bobby Lee Hester (Bridgette), Marty Hester, Mike Hester (Diane) and Jody Hester Parker (Dale); her grandchildren, Hunter Hester, Brandon Hester, Brittany Hix (Houston), Ashley Burns (Eric), Josh Hester (Amanda) and Benjamin Hester; her sisters, Janice Hume (David) and Patty Kovach (Don); and her nephew Scott Kovach. She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
