Elizabeth Rebecca Ried Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 27, 2023, at the age of 88, Elizabeth Rebecca Ried of Smiths Grove, Kentucky, born in Sutton, West Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Wade Gillespie; her husband Malcolm Ried; her son James Thorne; and her siblings, Ernest Gillespie, Vivian Thomas and Marie Gillespie.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jackie Johnson (Jimmy) and Debbie Allen (Paul); her grandchildren, Derek, Jason, Jeremy and Summer; and her close friends, Priscilla Webb and Jewel Lindsey. She is also survived by several great grandchildren and one great great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Elizabeth's wishes were for donations to be made to Thomas Veterinary Services, 156 Vincent St., Smiths Grove, KY 42171 in lieu of flowers.
