He is survived by: his close friend Barbara Kaye Cowles; his children, Cynthia McDougle (Anthony) of Chalybeate, Tammy Thien of Chalybeate and Brian Cowles (Kim) of Chalybeate; his grandchildren, Heather White (Kyle), Drew McDougle (Mandee), Taylor Carroll (Chad) and Evan Cowles; his great grandchildren, Dalton Carroll, Thomas Carroll, Knox White, Allie Decker, Lexi Decker, Honor White and Abel Carroll; and his brothers, Kenneth Cowles (Linda), Ronald Cowles (Opal) and Terry Cowles (Darlene).
