He was predeceased by: his parents, James Smith and Flora Smith; his daughter Debbie Adams; his granddaughter Mickie Norris; and his siblings, John Smith, Moline Round, Dorothy Foster, Wanda Smith and Bonnie Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Vickie Wright (Joey Wilborn), Darrell Thomas Smith, Jr. (Rachel) and June Jones; his brothers, Dwight Smith and Junior Smith (Florence); and his grandchildren, Bruce Adams, Jennifer Carry (Chris), Staci Montgomery (Matt), T. J. Webb (Brooks), Will Wright (Bethany Mutter), Michelle Riley (Doug), Joshua Smith (Ashley), Blake Haribson (Kelly) and Hunter Jones. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22nd 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Bevil Brothers Funeral Home (226 Louisville Rd, Beaver Dam, KY 42320).
